7 times World Champion, multiple Champion of Poland
One of the most popular sports personalities of the last 30 years in Poland. He is the most titled Polish speedway rider in history. Over the years, he has provided a large dose of emotions to fans around the world. In his professional career, he represented clubs from Gorzów, Tarnów, Toruń, Grudziądz, Gdańsk, but the longest - for 15 years - he was associated with Polonia Bydgoszcz, with which he won 5 titles of Polish Team Champion. He also won points and National Team Championships for English (Ipswich Witches 1998), Swedish (Västervik Speedway 2005), Danish and German clubs.
For 18 years he competed in the Grand Prix cycle. He stood on the podium of these competitions 53 times and won them 22 times. He was inducted into the Polish National Speedway Hall of Fame, of which he was the captain for many years. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his merits for the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of sport.
He was also elected the FIM Personality of the Year 2010 as the only speedway rider in the history of the discipline.
Currently, he is a speedway expert of CANAL+ television.
